Mission
Offering a lasting tribute to honor and recognize past and present men and women of Meridian and East Mississippi who have served in the U. S. Armed Services. The motto of the East Mississippi Veterans Park is to HONOR, EDUCATE, and INSPIRE.
To honor and commemorate Service Members, Veterans, and the Military - to instill in each of us a sense of appreciation, respect and awe for the individuals who served honorably and who are serving in the United States Military to preserve the freedoms that we cherish.
To educate visitors, community and future generations about American and Military history, the role and contributions played in it by service members and veterans from Meridian and East Mississippi. The memorial will cultivate a public understanding of the sacrifices made by all service members, veterans and their families during their service to our country, especially to those who served and paid the ultimate sacrifice to protect the freedoms we enjoy.
To inspire future generations to serve and carry on those values and love of country that their past ancestors had done before them so that we can continue to have the freedoms and rights that our great nation was founded upon.

To preserve its beauty, purpose, and impact for generations to come, the creation of a Sustainability Endowment Fund is essential. This fund will serve as a permanent financial resource dedicated to supporting the park’s ongoing maintenance, educational initiatives, and community engagement efforts.
