A perpetual tribute to acknowledge past and present men and women of Meridian and East Mississippi who have served or who are serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. The East Mississippi Veterans Park aims to honor, educate, and inspire.

To honor and recognize veterans, service members, and their families. Promote appreciation, respect, and acknowledgment for individuals who served honorably and are serving in the United States Military to maintain our freedoms.

To educate visitors, community, and future generations about American military history and the contributions made by Mississippi veterans. The veterans park will enhance public understanding of the sacrifices made by all veterans and their families during their service, particularly those who served on the battlefields to protect our freedoms.

To inspire future generations to serve and uphold the values and love of country demonstrated by their ancestors, ensuring the continuation of the freedoms and rights foundational to our nation.
