Magnolia Cemetery Beautification

Magnolia Cemetery turned 125 years old in November 2023 and its showing its age. Over 15,000 people have been laid to rest here including longtime Congressmen G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery, singer-songwriter Paul Davis and the Key brothers of aviation fame. Likely many of your family and friends are also buried there.

Our goal is to improve and beautify this historic cemetery through a fund at the Community Foundation of East MS. There will be several phases of this project which will focus on road repair and resurfacing.
