Soulé Steam Museum is a unique historic site. There are very few places in the United States where a complete factory from the American Industrial Revolution have been preserved. Visitors can step back in time to see how hard factory workers toiled in the late 19th/early 20th centuries. Soulé is last intact steam engine factory in the United States and appears that workers just walked away from their stations right after World War II! Not only does this museum provide a nostalgic view of the past, but it also reminds us of America’s great industrial sector that built the quality of life we enjoy today. The student field trips and self-guided tours, plus events such as Soulé Live Steam Festival and Maker Faire Meridian introduce our youth and visitors to the value of the industrial trades, engineering, invention, and hard work. Help us continue the preservation and interpretation of the amazing Soulé Steam Feed Works factory site.
